Crowd topped the St. Paul Saints by a score of 4 to 2 at SAFECO
Field.
Guerrero provided the offensive punch. He belted a three-run homer (his 2nd
of the season) in the 1st inning, delivered a one-base hit in the 3rd inning
and stroked a single plating a run in the 5th inning. Columbus banged out 7
hits on the afternoon.
The victory went to Armando Galarraga(1-0) who went 6 and 2/3 innings,
allowing 2 runs. Galarraga got help from Sean Burnett who earned his 1st
save. James Shields(1-1) was the loser. He allowed 4 runs and 7 hits in 8
innings.
